ITI’s long-running relationship with NBCUniversal covers conferencing, screening rooms and public-facing spaces for people who make and review media. The work reaches from the CEO’s boardroom at 30 Rockefeller Center to huddle rooms and meeting spaces for film executives in Los Angeles, with projects at stations across the country.
The brief
NBCUniversal needed one integrator able to work across that range of rooms within an established in-house engineering organization. Video calls carry content that participants have created and need to review, making image quality a central requirement.
Microsoft Teams Rooms for content review and collaboration
Logitech Rally and Crestron Flex systems underpin the Microsoft Teams Rooms program, which ITI has delivered across more than 80 projects since 2020. ITI coordinates this work with the engineers responsible for NBC’s facilities.
Executive screening rooms
ITI’s scope also includes executive screening rooms. Surround sound and picture quality have to satisfy people who watch and listen for a living.
LG direct view LED at 30 Rock and the Innovation Lab
An LG MAGNIT wall at 0.93 mm serves the Innovation Lab, and a 163-inch LG LAPA wall is installed at 30 Rock. The display program also includes commercial flat panels and LCD video walls.
AV-over-IP with Crestron DM NVX and Q-SYS NV
Crestron DM NVX video distribution was followed by Q-SYS NV installations as the work continued. These networked systems carry video between sources and displays, with Q-SYS also providing room audio processing and control. The project footprint includes 30 Rockefeller Center and 1221 Avenue of the Americas, NBC Sports in Stamford, the Telemundo Center in Miami and Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
The result
NBC teams can review content over video calls using systems refined with their engineers. The organization has one integrator across its meeting and screening spaces, working to its in-house standards. ITI continues its support and engineering work and, since the January 2026 spin-off, also supports Versant, home of CNBC, MS NOW, USA Network and Golf Channel.

- 298 BE-T and BE-C series displays, 136 QM, QB and QH series displays, and 597 TU7000 displays in 55-inch and 43-inch sizes. Of the TU7000 displays, 509 were part of a single 2022 communication-display program.

- 136 Crestron DM NVX 4K60 4:4:4 encoder and decoder endpoints installed in 2022 and 2023, followed by 166 Q-SYS NV-series video endpoints installed in 2025 and 2026.
