Fiserv’s main Mid-Atlantic office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey houses more than 3,000 employees. ITI integrated the audiovisual systems for an office that combines employee meeting spaces with conference facilities and executive briefing centers.
The brief
The first floor contains a conference center and executive briefing centers; floors 2 through 4 are primarily associate workspace with a wide variety of conference rooms. The AV work needed to support presentations and daily meetings across those different environments, with a consistent approach to conferencing and control. It also covered a multipurpose suite that can operate as a combined space or separate rooms.
Direct view LED walls across the conference center and lobby
Twelve NanoLumens direct view LED walls bring presentation into the architecture. They include a curved 1.2 mm Nixel wall in the vestibule between the lobby and executive conference center. Other walls serve the rotunda, Innovation Lab, and divisible multipurpose suite.
AV-over-IP and control for the whole building
Crestron DM NVX distributes video across the building under Crestron control. Connected sources can reach the building’s displays, so presentation content is available beyond a single room. ITI’s programming work covered the curved wall and atrium displays, along with the multipurpose suite in its combined and divided configurations.
Microsoft Teams rooms
Microsoft Teams conferencing runs on Crestron Flex room systems. Camera equipment includes Jabra PanaCast 50 and Logitech MeetUp, with Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone arrays for room audio.
The result
Fiserv has one way to meet across its Teams rooms, with video distribution serving the wider workplace. Presentations can use the building itself as a display, from the curved vestibule wall to the atrium.
